General Notes:
She arrived from Bremen, Germany, on the ship SALON at Galveston 29 November 1850. Anna and John Carl Garlipp raised their family as Methodist.
At the time of the 1870 census in Industry, Austin County, Texas, Anna gave her birthplace as Oldenburg and indicated that her parents were of foreign birth. On the 1880 census, she indicated that her parents were born in Oldenburg also.
A card commemorating her death had these words: To the memory of Mrs. Anna Koch, died Aug 22, 1899, aged 66y, 27d, and this verse.

Anna married Henry Christian Koch, son of Johann Heinrich Koch and Ilse Margarethe Pabst, on 8 Jan 1860 in , Austin County, Texas.1 (Henry Christian Koch was born on 9 Oct 1833 in Dankersen, Westfalen, Germany 12, christened on 13 Oct 1833 in Dankusen Evangelistical Church, Westfalen, Germany, died in Dec 1899 in Industry, Austin County, Texas 10 and was buried in Koch Family Cemetery, Industry, Austin County, Texas 10.)

The marriage was performed by John C. Kopp, minister of the gospel.
Anna next married John Carl Garlipp Jr, son of John Carl Garlipp Sr and Catharina Dorothee Sophie Schwede, on 24 Oct 1852 in Industry, Austin County, Texas.2 3 (John Carl Garlipp Jr was born on 26 May 1828 in Duchy of Saxe Weimar, Germany 13 and died in 1859 in probably Industry, Austin County, Texas.)
Marriage Notes:
The marriage was at the home of the groom's parents. John O'Brien, J.P. performed the ceremony.
