He indicated that he had been married for 20 years, but that was overall. According to Pauline's listing, this was her first marriage and she had been married 7 years.
At the time of the 1910 census, Christian was farming in Wilbarger County, Texas. He was paying a mortgage to own his farm. He indicated that he was in his second marriage and he had been married 16 years to Pauline.
The Marble Falls Messenger of 19 Mar 1914 reported that C.H. Koch had broken both legs just below the knee in an accident involving a stump puller. Dr. J. Yett attended him. This would have been in Burnet County, Texas.
At the time of the 1920 census, Christian was farming a general farm in Williamson County, Texas. He rented his home. Louise's child from her first marriage, Rudolph Sibert, shown as grandson to Christian 6 years old born in Texas with parents born in Texas, was listed with the family.
At the time of the 1930 census, Christian was living on a farm in Wilbarger County, Texas. He owned his home. He listed no occupation. He indicated that he was 23 when first married but this doesn't match information about his birth date and length of marriages previously given. It also conflicts with the birth dates of his children. Daughters Olga and Minnie have married Krieg men and live next door and nearby.
