No occupation was shown for him. At the time of the 1930 census, August was back in Wilbarger County, Texas. (He settled in Vernon.) He was 34 and had first married at 26. Children from that marriage in his household were Myrtle 7, and August 5. He had been married to Erna for one year He rented his home on a farm.
