In Memory of Frances Fincke
February 8, 1926 - May 27, 2016

Augusta Frances Wall Fincke was born February 8, 1926, in Spicewood, Texas to August & Augusta Heine Wall. She passed from this life on May 27, 2016. She is survived by her daughters Regina L. Krueger and Kathy K. Lenox. Also her grandchildren Windy Krueger Hartl & Kevin, Chris krueger & Jenifer, Guerin Spivey and Kristi Spivey mcCurley & Rick. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Ethan & Alex Ann Hartl, Kendall & Mia McCurley and Gracie & Jack Krueger. Frances has one living brother Ira Lee Wall and many nieces & nephews & friends. She was preceded in death by parents, husband Ralph, sisters Gertie and Minnie Jane and brothers Norwood, Malcom (Dick) and Henry Thomas (HT).

Frances graduated in 1943 from Spicewood. She met her husband, Ralph in Spicewood and they married when he came home from the service in October of 1945.

Frances had a green thumb and a huge garden which she loved to share.

After attending beauty school Frances had a shop in the big white building next to McGill's for many years. Ralph later built her a shop next to their home in town.

Frances was a caregiver to many of her family and friends. You did not have to call and ask for help because Frances was always calling and checking on her friends and would show up with a complete meal and a helping hand. If your house or yard needed cleaning she was on it. The last few years slowed her down but didn't stop her; still cooking and taking care of family and friends, whether it was a meal or simply a phone call to make sure you were ok and safe at home.

When she retired from the beauty profession she put all her time into family, friends, gardening, needle work and quilting. People who passed through town and everyone in town knew which yard was her's. Simply mention the one with all the beautiful flowers or the one with all the easter, valentine, halloween and Christmas decorations.

Visitation will be held Monday May 30 from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral service Tuesday May 31 at 10 am at Clements-Wilcox funeral home with Holton George and Darrell Debo officiating. Interment to follow at Rockvale Cemetery at Spicewood. Condolences may be offered to www.clementswilcoxburnet.com. 6
