  General Notes:

She loved to play baseball and stayed in school another year just to play. At the time of the 1930 census, Ileen and August were living with his parents, Henry H. and Annie Whitehead, in Burnet County, Texas, on the Round Mountain-Marble Falls road.

She was living in Austin, Texas, in 1948, 1964, and 1996. Ileen worked at JC Penney for many years and went to business school to further her education, which led to her employment with DPS as a A.D.P. operator. She retired from DPS in the late 1970's.

She provided daycare for her four great-grandsons from birth through elementary school during the 1980's. She and August traveled extensively with the Roadrunner group. She continued after his death as long as her health would allow.

She was a member of the Eastern Star Fidelis Chapter No. 963, from 1964-2000.
