  General Notes:

At the time of the 1930 census, Wilburn was a laborer doing odd jobs in Marble Falls, Burnet County, Texas. He was in the trucking business, operating his own local truck line.

He was in an automobile accident in about 1951 which caused him to use a cane most of the time. He contracted the moving of rock for Puretone Company as well as doing the landscaping on many yards in Marble Falls and surrounding developments.

He bought Liberty Hall at 119 Ave G, Marble Falls, Burnet County, Texas, in 1946. It was built in 1887 by Gen Adam Rankin Johnson. He was the founder of Marble Falls. It was his home for years. The land goes back to Capt. Baker who died at the Alamo. 500 acres was attached to the home at the beginning.

Wilburn Wall used the house as a home and apartments for people working on the Colorado River dams in the early years through the mid 1950's. Then it was just the family home. Wilburn lived in Marble Falls, Burnet County, Texas, most of his life.

His son restored it in 1983 to be used in large part for retail and office space. It was used as a bed and breakfast as Liberty Hall Guest Haus from 1995-2006. It always also included the family home space.
