   Another name for Gladys was Alia Gladys Kimbrow.

According to Pat White, Gladys and Eula the youngest of the Kimbrow children, never got to take their turn visiting the "Head" house as the "two maiden sisters" were too old to take care of them. The other girls were sent there in the summer months to learn to cook and do handwork and other cultural activities not provided at home. It was their delight to go because it meant they would not have to work in the cotton fields that summer. They worked very hard and covered their faces with buttermilk to reduce the risk of getting too dark. The "Head" home was located not far from the Bethany Church.

March 2002: I (Cathy Reynolds) now believe the "two maiden sisters" to be Sarah E. Head (Sallie), their aunt, that never married and Susanna Alabama Bethany Newby Head, (Aunt Sukie), their great aunt that was married to Allison Asbury Head (Uncle Ben). Sallie lived with Uncle Ben and Aunt Sukie across the street from the Bethany Rest Cemetery.

Social Security had her last residence as Monroe, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.

Gladys married John Peter Innerhofer, son of Conrad Innerhofer and Margaret Eckelberger, on 16 Nov 1925 in , Johnson County, Texas. (John Peter Innerhofer was born on 25 Nov 1894 in Austria,^{4 5} died on 2 Apr 1970 in , Dallas County, Texas ^{4 5 6} and was buried on 5 Apr 1970 in Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Dallas County, Texas ⁵.). The cause of his death was arteriosclerotic heart disease.
