  General Notes:

At the time of the 1940 census, Adolph was farming with his brothers Edward and Oscar on the home place in Spicewood. His mother, Annie, was shown as head of household. Adolph's WWII Army Air Force enlistment record showed that he had 4 years of high school. (Not actually true. He graduated from Spicewood School which only had 11 grades.) His civilian occupation was general farmer. He was single, with dependents. He was living in Burnet County, Texas.

Adolph was primarily a farmer and a rancher. He also worked at Mathis Air Conditioning and at Burnham Brothers.
