By the time of the 1900 census, Lizzie had been married 8 years and was still childless. In 1910 she was employed as a bookkeeper. The company name is illegible on the census page. Lizzie had 12 years of education according to the 1925 Iowa state census. At that time her parents were living with them in Albia, Monroe County, Iowa. At the time of the 1930 census, Lizzie was working as a bookkeeper in an implement store (probably her husband's).
Lizzie married George Belle Alexander, son of James E. Alexander and Racheal Bell, about 1892. (George Belle Alexander was born in Jun 1867 in Iowa,5 11 died in 1933 11 and was buried in Oak View Cemetery, Albia, Monroe County, Iowa 10.)
