  General Notes:

At the time of the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census, Samuel was a farmer in Washington, Montgomery County, Iowa. He was paying a mortgage to own his farm. His mother in law America Anderson was living with them in 1900. His son Frank Bruce Noble's family was beside them in 1920.

Obituary:
Samuel Dunn Noble, a resident of Montgomery county, Iowa, practically all his life, died Monday evening at 7:20 o'clock, his death resulting from complications following a stroke of paralysis.

He was a son of Frank and Nancy Noble, was born four miles north of Villisca on May 8, 1861 and was 67 years old at his death.

He was married to Mary C. Anderson of Villisca on Dec. 23, 1883, and to this union four children were born. They are Mrs. Lila Farley of Okoboji, Iowa, Bruce Noble, Mrs. Grace Anderson and Mrs. Effie Copelin of Villisca. Besides his wife and children he leaves two sisters, Mrs. Lenora Moritz of Waterloo, Iowa, and Mrs. Elizabeth Ten Eyck of Villisca, and eleven grandchildren.

His funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Arlington M.E. church with Rev. Geo. A. Lawton conducting the service. The singing was by Mrs H H Nordyke and Mrs L W Scott, with Mrs F G Kunce at the piano, and the pallbearers were Frank Moritz, Elmer Thomason, Bruce Noble, Don Anderson, Ray Farley and John Copelin. Interment was in the Arlington cemetery.

Mr and Mrs Ray Farley of Okoboji were here to attend the funeral.

Samuel married Mary Colorado Anderson, daughter of George W. Anderson and Jane Findley, on 23 Dec 1883. (Mary Colorado Anderson was born on 19 Oct 1864 in Hawleyville, Page County, Iowa,4 died on 29 Sep 1945 in , Montgomery County, Iowa and was buried on 2 Oct 1945 in Arlington Cemetery, Stanton, Montgomery County, Iowa 11.). The cause of her death was senility.
