Terry Von Head ²

Newellton: Terry Von Head died Sunday, Nov., 28, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was 66.

A longtime resident of Newellton, Mr. Head was a graduate of Northeast Louisiana University. He had been a football coach at Sterlington High School, Swartz Junior High, Ridgedale Academy and River Oaks Academy. He was a salesman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Flossie Head; and a twin brother, Jerry Don Head.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kay Webb Head of Calhoun; a son, Daryl L. Head of St. Joseph; a daughter, Pamela K. Head of Covington, La.; two brothers, N. Drexel Head of Liberty and Chester Head Jr. of Houma, La.; and four sisters, Hattabelle Lee of Waveland, Agatha Gasaway of Pettigene, Ark., Carol Lynne Moore of West Monroe, La., and Daphne Jean Higginbotham of Mountain View, Ark.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Newellton with the Revs. J. Fulton McGraw and Todd Sumrall officiating. Burial will follow at Legion Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Social Security had his last residence as Calhoun, Ouachita Parish, Louisiana.

Terry married Sandra Kay Webb on 30 Jan 1959.¹ (Sandra Kay Webb was born on 29 Jul 1940 ^{1 6} and died on 11 May 2008 ^{1 6}.)
