At the time of the 1910 census, Arthur was renting his general farm in Dyer County, Tennessee. When Arthur registered for the WWI draft on 12 Sep 1918, he was farming for himself in Eaton, Gibson County, Tennessee. His wife, Martha, was his nearest relative. At the time of the 1920 census, he was a tenant farmer in Gibson County, Tennessee. At the time of the 1930 census, he was a laborer, odd jobs. He rented their home in Union City, Obion County, Tennessee for $12.50 a month. His death certificate listed his father incorrectly as Dan Kimbrough and had his name as Arthur Edward Kimbrough. His wife's name was correct, but it showed they were divorced.
