Goldthwaite -- Sadie Owens Head, 92, of Lometa, died Saturday in Hillview Manor Nursing Home in Goldthwaite.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church in Lometa, with burial in Lometa Cemetery, directed by Wilkins Funeral Home of Goldthwaite.

Ms. Head was a retired teacher.

Sadie married William Eli Head, son of James Blakely Head and Asenath Catherine Baker, in 1927.
