Glen's occupation was listed as dispenser, at home, on the 1910 census in Quincy, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.

Glen Wilson Brosius graduated from Quincy High School in 1914, then went to the Mercersburg Acadamy where he graduated. He was his high school class president, played the violin and various other wind instruments. He graduated from the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was first chair for Peabody Orchestra.

When Glenn registered for the WWI draft on 5 Jun 1917, he was a Clerk for Cumberland Valley Rail Road Company in Mont Alto, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. He was single. Glenn served in the Army during World War I at the rank of P.F.C. in the 79th Division of 315th Band and survived the battle of the Argon Woods in Argon, France.

On December 25, 1924, he received a loan from his father, Dr. William H. Brosius for $2,500 to build a two-story brick building where he started the Manhattan Bottling Works and made Pearl Spring soda. The loan was paid in full on December 25, 1926. He also had a store in their home, The Tea Room, where he sold groceries, candy, ice cream, and Pearl Spring soda. At the time of the 1930 census, Glen was listed on the census as the owner of a bottling plant in Mont Alto, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. When he registered for the WWII draft in 1942, his business was shown as Manhattan Bottling Company. His wife, Jane, was the person who would always know his address. They lived in Mont Alto. Glen served as Mayor and also on the Board of Education for Mont Alto for many years. In 1968, he died of natural causes. Social Security had his last residence as Mont Alto, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
