General Notes:
At the time of the 1900 census, Mary was living in Lamar County, Texas, with sons Harmon and Harold. She had borne 12 children with 10 still living. She qualified for a Confederate Widow's Pension on 25 Oct 1906 in Paris, Lamar County, Texas. At the time of the 1910 census, Mary was living with her daughter Mattie and husband Roy Anderson's family in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas. The record showed that she had borne 12 children with 9 still living.
Mary married George Washington Brosius, son of Jacob Brosius and Julianna Cross, on 17 Sep 1857 in Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky.1 (George Washington Brosius was born on 2 May 1832 in , Morgan County, Virginia,1 8 died on 25 Aug 1885 in Paris, Lamar County, Texas 1 8 and was buried in Oddfellows Cemetry, Paris, Lamar County, Texas.)
