  General Notes:

Emma raised chickens and turkeys for market to support her family after Will died. During WWII she lived on a 107 acre place just north of Johnson City, Texas. Her sons Carl, Grady and Weldon sent allotments out of their military pay to help her. She sold all but 20 acres of her place in about 1947 and built a new house. She was out of debt.

Social Security had her last residence as Johnson City, Blanco County, Texas.
