Mrs. Chester Head
Mrs. Chester Head was born December 20, 1911, at Center City and passed away September 28, 1948 at 9:30 a.m.
She was converted at the age of eleven at the Center City Baptist Church and was always active in the Church program being both Sunday school teacher and secretary of the Sunday School.
She and Mr. Head were married August 14, 1931.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Head is survived by two sons, Charles, 16, and Gary, 13, her mother, Mrs. M. E. Casbeer, two brothers, Raymond and Carl, all of Goldthwaite and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Harbour of Lometa, and Miss Pearl Casbeer of Austin.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock at the First Baptist Church here by the Rev. M. D. Lowry, pastor of Goldthwaite Methodist Church, and the Rev. Cloud, former pastor of the Center City Baptist Church. Burial followed in Goldthwaite Memeorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Chester Head
Mrs. Chester Head died suddenly Tuesday morning, Sept. 28 at about 6:30 o'clock at the family home at Center City.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock at the First Baptist Church here by the Rev. M. D. Lowry, pastor of Goldthwaite Methodist Church and the Rev. Cloud, former pastor of the Center City Baptist Church. Burial followed in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Head is survived by her husband, Chester Head; two sons, Charles and Gary; mother, Mrs. M. E. Casbeer; two brothers, Carl and Raymond Casbeer of Goldthwaite; and two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Harbour of Lometa and Miss Pearl Casbeer of Austin. 3
