Marshal Head, age 89, of Muleshoe, Texas died Friday, December 11, 2020 in Muleshoe, Texas. He was born July 31, 1931 in Bailey County, Texas to D.B. and Mildred Emma (Wilterding) Head. He married Jo Anne May in Custer, Oklahoma on October 7, 1951.

Marshal served in the United States Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He farmed and ranched in the Bailey County area for many years, and served on many boards in the ag community. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Muleshoe, where he also served on many boards.

Marshal is preceded in death by his wife Jo Anne, his parents, and one daughter Lynda Couch.

Marshal is survived by his son, David and his wife Belinda of Muleshoe, Texas; his two daughters, Janice Eddy and her husband, Michael of Lawton, Oklahoma and Susan Hollingsworth and her husband, Tony of Abilene, Texas; his sister, Irene Sudduth of Dry Prong, Louisiana; his two brothers, Norman Head of Trent, Texas and Glenn Head of Brownsville, Texas; his ten grandchildren, Douglas Widener, Monica Burchett, Katie Hodges, Trevor Couch, Weston Couch, Courtnee Edwards, Beau Henry, Brad Henry, Marshal Wayne Head, and Natalie Glendening; and his twelve great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be sent to the First United Methodist Church of Muleshoe, 507 W. 2nd Street, Muleshoe, Texas 79347.

John married Jo Anne May on 7 Oct 1951 in Custer City, Custer County, Oklahoma. (Jo Anne May was born on 5 Jun 1931 in Thomas, Custer County, Oklahoma, died on 13 Mar 2014 in Maple, Bailey County, Texas and was buried in Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery, Muleshoe, Bailey County, Texas.)
