Andrew Jackson Thompson 4 5 6 7 8 9 10
Cause of his death was cerebral hemorrhage, hypostatic pneumonia.11 ![]() General Notes: Jack had an identical twin, George Washington Thompson. Just for fun, they would pretend to be the other. Jack had an enlarged pupil of the eye that he called a cat eye which allowed him to see at night. The light hurt it in the daytime. He was known to have carried 250 pounds of flour in five sacks from his wagon to the house at the same time. He would put two sacks on his shoulders, two under his arms and one in his teeth and on his stomach. He could stand on his head and pop to his feet at age 72. According to Mike Wall, he could walk on his hands down a cotton middle. As well as their physical strength, Jack and Lera had strong moral characters. From the recollections of Noah L.
