Charles Wayne Kraatz May 13, 1944 - Oct. 18, 2000

Services for Charles Wayne Kraatz, 56, of Bryan are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Kraatz died Wednesday at his home.

He was born in Winters, Texas. He was employed with Basler-Base & Pumping Unit Services for ten years. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Kraatz of Bryan; five sons and daughters in law, Charles L. Kraatz of Bryan, Damon and Karen Kraatz of Bryan, Jimmie Stone Jr. and Betty of Quincy, Ill., Kenneth Stone of Bryan, Morris and Sharon Stone of Parkersburg, W. Va.; two daughters, Melody Tyson of Granfield, Okla., Judy Stone of Bryan; four brothers, Walter Kraatz of Fort Worth, Joe Kraatz of Mesquite, Texas, Ronald Kraatz of Connecticut, Willie Kraatz of Wilmington, Del.; three sisters, Christine White of Abilene, Margie Chaney of Brady, Texas, Roslyn Hudgins of Bolinger; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild
