They match the Robert and Givens George listed on 4 Oct 1850 at Cosumnes River, El Dorado County, California, except that Givens' birthplace was shown as Missouri instead of Kentucky. They were merchants. The confusing issue is that they are also listed on the census taken on 15 Nov 1850 at Callaway County, Missouri, with their father's family. There was time to return and they may have done just that.
