  General Notes:

Choella Clary, 95, of Star, died Sept. 22, 2006, at a Goldthwaite nursing home.

Funeral services were held Sunday at the Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Muehl and Sam Campbell officiating. Interment was in the Hurst Ranch Cemetery in Mills County.

She was born April 25, 1911, in Mills County to the late James Soules and Margaret Boykin Soules. She married Woodson Clary on Nov. 23, 1935, in North Bennett. A lifelong resident of Mills County, she was a homemaker and a member of the Star United Methodist Church and the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodson Clary; a son, James Woodson Clary; three brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Ella Ruth Morgan of Goldthwaite; three sisters, Florence Sheldon of Goldthwaite, Virgie Sheldon of Evant and Lottie Morris of Mesquite; one brother, Hugh Soules of Gatesville; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Armand Clary, Lester Clary, Jimmy Soules, Jim Morris, Harrell Clary, Boyd Clary and Charles Clary.

The family requests memorials be made to the Hurst Ranch Cemetery.
