  General Notes:

When Gloria was 14 through 17 years old, she worked at the Melba Theatre in Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas. Then she worked at H. B. Davis variety store for seven years. Then she worked at Steens Hardware for 3 years. Then she worked for Schwartz food store for seven years. Then she worked as school tax assessor collector at the Mills County Courthouse 14 years. Then she was elected as county treasure for 12 years (3 terms). Then she retired.

Gloria met Allie at Durenville Cafe. He also had a place in Center City where his parents lived. They lived in Goldthwaite at 1804 Cline St for 42 years. Allie farmed and worked on electric motors. He also maintained trucks for the highway department.

Gloria married George Louie Marler, son of J. F. Marler and Evelyn Hendricks. (George Louie Marler was born on 23 Aug 1918 in Alpine, Brewster County, Texas, died on 21 Nov 1997 in Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas and was buried in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery, Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas.)

Gloria next married Levi Nathan Truett Auldridge. (Levi Nathan Truett Auldridge was born on 18 Sep 1924 and died on 10 May 2006 in Austin, Travis County, Texas.)
