Mrs. Chapman Passes Away
Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Chapman died in her home at Waco on July 29, 1947 following a stroke.

She was brought to Goldthwaite and laid to rest at Look Out by the side of her husband, Robert Chapman who preceeded her in death four years and 20 days.

The following children survive her: Mrs. Mattie LaFerrey of Rosebud, Mrs. Lala Larence, Talmage Chapman, Minnie Bell Lumpkin, Mrs. Thelma Faulkenberry all of Waco and Bill Chapman of Houston. Preceeding her in death were three children. Also surviving are two brothers, George Denman Sr. of Goldthwaite and Frank Denman of Tulare, Calif.

All these were present with the exception of the latter.

Mrs. Chapman was a member of the Nazerene Church at Goldthwaite. ⁵

Sarah married Robert Seymour Chapman in 1890. (Robert Seymour Chapman was born on 8 Feb 1870 in Stockdale, Wilson County, Texas, died on 9 Jul 1943 in Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas ⁶ and was buried in Caradan Cemetery, Caradan, Mills County, Texas.)
