Scheller, Louis Henry L. H. SCHELLER DIES AT GLIDDEN
Louis Henry Scheller, 89, was buried at Millers Creek cemetery Monday. He died at his home in Glidden Sunday morning.
Mr. Scheller was born Aug. 25, 1859, in Austin county. He had resided in Glidden for 10 years.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. P. W. Obenhaus of Glidden, Mrs. Lenora Stapleton and Mrs. Alma Tooke of Columbus; 2 sons, Henry of Glidden and Jesse of Robstown. He has one half sister, Mrs. Minnie Berthold of Corpus Christi, and 3 half brothers: Otto Ammann, El Campo; August Ammann, El Campo; Charles Ammann, Wharton.
Pallbearers were 4 grandsons: Edward Charles Scheller, Robstown; L. W. Scheller, Hearne; Willis Obenhaus, Houston; Jimmie Wallace, Glidden. Also Gus Williams of Glidden and Delmar Fehrenkamp of Columbus were pallbearers.
Funeral services were arranged by the Columbus Funeral home.

Scheller, Louis Mr. L. H. (Love) Scheller formerly of this section passed away at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. P. C. Obenhaus in Glidden Sunday morning at 9 o'clock and his body was laid to rest beside his wife in the Miller's Creek Cemetery here Monday eve. Had he lived until the 25th of August, he would have reached the ripe old age of 90 years. Mr. Scheller has been in ill health for a number of years, but for the past 17 months he has been in bed constantly. In 1882, he married Miss Mary Jane Berthold, who preceded him in death about 25 years ago. To this union there were six children born, one of them dying in infancy. Surviving children are: Mrs. P. C. Obenhaus and Henry Scheller of Glidden, Mrs. Nora Stapleton of Columbus, Mrs. Alma Tooke of Houston and Jesse Scheller of Robstown. A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Minnie Berthold of Skidmore, and three half-brothers, Aug. and Otto Ammann of El Campo and Charley of Wharton, also survive. Oak grove people extend their sympathy to the bereaved family. Golden Locks
