Von Dell (McBeth) Nesbitt born July 15, 1933, to Lawton and Jewel McBeth in Brownwood, TX, died in her home on June 17, 2008, in Houston after an illness with cancer.

A service celebrating her life was held at the Gatesville Funeral Home, Saturday, June 21, at 2:00 p.m. with Robert Cavanaugh officiating.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 52 years, Stanley Nesbitt of Houston; daughter, Gay Miller and husband David of Houston; sons, Tim Nesbitt and wife Kelly of Highland Park, TX and Todd Nesbitt and wife Beverly of Winona, MS; brother, Wayland McBeth and wife Georgia of Gatesville, TX; nephews, John and Leroy McBeth of Gatesville, TX; and seven grandchildren whom she loved so dearly, along with many other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to "Stand Up to Cancer" SUZC File 1224, 1801 W. Olympic Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91199-1224 or to the Pidcoke Cemetery Fund.

Social Security had her last residence as Cypress, Harris County, Texas.

Von married Stanley Dean Nesbitt, son of William Bon Nesbitt and Marjorie Taylor, on 28 Apr 1956 in Wauseon, Fulton County, Ohio.¹ (Stanley Dean Nesbitt was born on 29 Oct 1932 in Liberal, Seward County, Kansas,⁵ died on 8 Aug 2016 in Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois and was buried in Pidcoke Cemetery, Pidcoke, Coryell County, Texas.)
