Phillip Lavern Atchison ¹

  General Notes:

KINGSLAND Services for Phillip L. Atchison, 56, will be at 10 a.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen with the Revs. Ray Zischang and Mike Swink officiating. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery in Killeen.

Atchison died May 10, 2006, in Kingsland. He was born June 12, 1949, in Gatesville. Atchison worked as a car salesman. He was of the Lutheran faith.

Survivors include one son, Todd Atchison of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Amanda Atchison of Fort Worth; his father and stepmother, Tommy and Janice Atchison of Bartlett; his mother, Mary J. Smith of Dallas; two brothers, Ricky Atchison and Jerry Atchison, both of Killeen; one sister, Elaine Calvert of Carrollton; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.

The sister Elaine Calvert of Carrollton, Texas, mentioned in his obituary, is his half-sister. She was Bridget Elaine Smith, born 1964, the child of his mother Mary Lovell and Ray Edwin Smith, whom his mother married after divorcing his father. Elaine married David R. Calvert.

Phillip married Beverly Kay Boney, daughter of Ernest William Boney Jr and Evelyn Joyce Smith.

Phillip next married Diana Jennette Menn, daughter of Hugo Albert Menn and Dora Jennie Gerdes.
