Cause of his death was renal failure due to arteriosclerosis and hypertension, diabetes mellitus and old cerebro vascular accident.5 ![]() General Notes: When Cary registered for the WWI draft on 12 Sep 1918, he was farming for his father, James Owens, in Center City, Mills County, Texas. His father was his nearest relative. At the time of the 1920 census, he was living with his parents and farming in Mills County, Texas. His death certificate showed that his occupation was ranching.
