Louie and Bertha's children were Helen Marie, Clara Mae, and Herman Gotlieb. Helen married Reuben Henry Stauffer on 19 Aug 1958. Her dates are 30 Dec 1929-16 Feb 2007. Clara married Willie Pinknie Welden. Herman married Doris Martha Biels.

Social Security had his last residence as Taylor, Williamson County, Texas. He was a farmer.

The cause of her death was pulmonary edema due to arteriosclerotic heart disease. She also suffered from lymphatic leukemia with acute phase and terminal lymphadenopathy..⁴
