  General Notes:

After his mother's death, Fred was adopted by Frederick L and Augusta S. Bannowski. He was listed as their adopted son on the 1880 census. He worked on their farm in the same census precinct in Burnet County where his father lived. In about 1895, he married Pamelia (or Permalia). They were listed on the 1900 census in Kimble County, Texas, Fred owned his farm free of mortgage. He was working as a day laborer. Their children were Julia 1896, Bettie 1897 and Georgia 1899. By 1930 they had moved to Chaves County, New Mexico. They lived on a farm and Fred was a general farmer. Elmer born about 1908 and Lottie born about 1912 were listed with them.
