At the time of the 1910 census, Adam had been married one year to Ida, 23 born in Texas of German parents. They had one child Alma, born 21 Jul 1909. He was farming in Fayette County, Texas. He rented his farm. His brothers Conrad and Robert were living with him and working as farm laborers. The location of the farm was given on Conrad and Robert's WWI draft registrations as Robb's Prairie, Fayette County, Texas.

At the time of the 1920 census, Adam was farming in La Grange, Fayette County, Texas. He rented his home. Four more children were listed in the household: Hattie born 4 Mar 1911, Elfrieda born 9 Dec 1912, John born 20 Feb 1915, Arthur Lee born 18 Jan 1917. His brother Conrad and Robert continued to be part of his hold and worked as farm laborers.

By the time of the 1930 census, the entire family had moved to Atascosa County, Texas. He rented his home. Another child had been added to the family: Melvin born 10 Jun 1920. Adam and his brothers Conrad and Robert were farming a general farm.

Alma Emma Mary Kloth married Henry William Chernosky. I found a likely tombstone for him--died 13 Jun 1945. (I couldn't find her death record, but a search on the Social Security Death Index by birth date and first name suggests she could have married later to Rutherford. If that is the case, she died 8 Feb 1980 in Atascosa County, Texas)
Hattie Ida Bertha Kloth married Alfred R. Chernosky. She died 7 Apr 1968.
Elfrieda Annie Kloth married Olien Albert Chernosky. She died 23 Jun 1998.
John Tobias Kloth married Geraldine Vrana. He died 8 Sep 1983.
Arthur Lee Kloth married Marie Anne Kovar. He died Jun 1944.
Melvin Adam Kloth married Thelma Jane Woelke. He died 27 Dec 1958.

In 1942, his sons Arthur Lee and Melvin enlisted in the US Army. They were still living in Atascosa County, Texas, at the time.

Social Security had Adam's last residence as Poteet, Atascosa County, Texas.

Adam married Ida Schellberg, daughter of Tobias Schellberg and Emma Weinand, about 1909. (Ida Schellberg was born on 13 Feb 1887 in Texas,⁹ died on 14 Nov 1970 in Pleasanton, Atascosa County, Texas ⁹ and was buried on 15 Nov 1970 in Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Jourdanton, Atascosa County, Texas ⁹.). The cause of her death was cancer of the colon.⁶
