She was listed as Louisa on the 1870 census. After her mother's death, she was adopted by Elijah and Elizabeth Bullion. She was listed as an adopted child with them on the 1880 census in the same precinct her father lived in Burnet County, Texas.
On 11 Jun 1893 she married Neal Wood. At the time of the 1900 census, they were living in Burnet County, Texas, with daughters Myrtle 1895 and Ella 1897. Neal was farming. At the time of the 1930 census, they were living in Llano County, Texas with Myrtle and son Neal born about 1905. Father and son were farming. Myrtle was a high school teacher.
