Delbert Charles Benedix, 65, died Sunday, April 25 at Doctors Medical Center.

He was a native of Vernon, TX. He lived in Oakdale 58 years.

Mr. Benedix served in the U.S. Navy.

He was a truck driver for 30 years.

He was past president of the Oakdale Saddle Club and enjoyed Sunday breakfast with his family.

He is survived by his sons, Brian Benedix and Johnny Benedix, both of Oakdale; sister, Joyce Lewis of Modesto; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 29 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 30 at Oaklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Oakdale-Riverbank Memorial Chapels in charge of arrangements.
