![]() General Notes: At the time of the 1900 census, Lee was a farm laborer in McLennan County, Texas. He was a traveling salesman for the Pittsburg Lightening Rod Co. in 1908. At the time of the 1910 census, Lee was a traveling salesman for sewing machines. When Lee registered for the WWI draft on 12 Sep 1918, he was a mechanic for Newton County Motor Company in Neosho, Newton County, Missouri. Gertrude L. Reid was his nearest relative. He listed his occupation as mechanic for an auto shop on the 1920 census. He rented his home in Neosho. At the time of the 1930 census, Lee was an engineer, clamshell for a coal mine. He owned his home in Tyrone, Franklin County, Illinois. It was valued at $1600. ![]() Lee married Gertrude L. about 1912. (Gertrude L. was born about 1891 in Illinois.) |
