Reid was born on 22 Nov 1862 in Holly Springs, Marshall County, Mississippi,1 9 died on 5 Sep 1946 in Waco, McLennan County, Texas 1 9 10 and was buried on 6 Sep 1946 in Post Oak Cemetery, Oglesby, Coryell County, Texas 9 11.). The cause of his death was acute circulatory failure, strangulated inguinal hernia, senility, hypertension.6
