James Walter - This family lived in many states before us children ever finished grade school. Both of us finished the eighth grade in Filer, ID. We then moved back to Warrensburg, MO, finished high school and went to college. I never finished college but Ruth did. She is a teacher. My Father lived and died on the same street, West Market. He never finished third grade and never owned an auto. He ran a dairy in Warrensburg for years as well as in Pueblo. He was an oil retailer for a few years in Warrensburg but for the most part was a farmer.

His son, James Walter Woolsey, was the informant on the death certificate also.

John married Minnie May Shepherd, daughter of James P. R. Shepherd and Dora Bell McDowell, on 29 Mar 1894 in , Johnson County, Missouri. (Minnie May Shepherd was born on 6 Aug 1874 in Valley City, Johnson County, Missouri,⁴ died on 4 Sep 1958 in Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri ⁴ and was buried on 7 Sep 1958 in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Warrensburg, Johnson County, Missouri ⁴.). The cause of her death was coronary insufficiency, generalized arteriosclerosis.³
