  General Notes:

When Ernest registered for the WWI draft on 5 Jun 1917, he was a laborer for Swift Packing Company in Kansas City, Missouri. He was single but helping to support his mother and invalid brother. (His brother John did not show a disability when he registered.) His death certificate showed that he was a rural mail carrier for the US Postal Service. He lived in Rich Hill, Bates County, Missouri, his entire life.
