  General Notes:

At the time of the 1900 census, Lawrence was a farm laborer in Fairfield, Jefferson County, Iowa. At the time of the 1910 census, he was manager of a livery stable in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. He rented his home. When Lawrence registered for the WWI draft on 12 Sep 1918, he was a laundryman in Ogden, Weber County, Utah. His wife, Dora, was his nearest relative. In 1920, he was still renting a home in Ogden. At that time he was proprietor of a laundry. At the time of the 1930 census, he showed no occupation. He was living with his brother Charles's family in Ogden.
