Funeral services for Ralph N. Turner, well-known rancher and real estate broker of Collbran and Grand Junction, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Martin's Chapel with the Rev. William W. Meyer officiating.

Mr. Turner was born Sept. 30, 1886, at Kellerton, Iowa, the son of William G. and Emma Noble Turner. He spent his childhood at Kellerton and Humeston, Iowa, where he graduated from high school. He moved to this area in 1906 from Humeston.

He and Miss Bessie LeFevre were married in Grand Junction Nov. 16, 1909. He was a member of the Congregational Church.

At the time of the 1910 census, Ralph was a clerk in the post office. He lived in Allen, Mesa County, Colorado. When Ralph registered for the WWI draft on 5 Jun 1917, he was a R.F.D. mail carrier for the US government in Collbran, Mesa County, Colorado. He had a wife and 2 children under 12. He claimed an exemption because of US service and dependents. At the time of the 1920 census, Ralph was paying a mortgage to own his home in Collbran, Mesa County, Colorado. He was a general farmer. His brother in law, Robert C. LeFevre born about 1894 Arkansas, was listed with the family. At the time of the 1930 census, he was a general farmer. He rented his home in Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, for $19 a month.
