General Notes:
Prior to moving to Westport, Connecticut, in 2004, Billy had been a longtime resident of Weston, Connecticut. He was a Tax Attorney and former employee of Amax Inc. in Greenwich for twenty-three years. Billy was a 1966 graduate of the University of Texas, a 1969 graduate of the University of Texas Law School and in 1975 received a master's degree (LLM) in tax law from New York University. He had a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas. He made Phi Delta Phi, an international legal fraternity. He loved mountain climbing, hiking and all sports.
Survivors include his life partner, Mary Ellen Sullivan of Westport, Connecticut, one sister, Judy Ann Meyer of Austin, Texas, three nephews, Randy Meyer of Gonzales, Texas, Ricky Meyer of San Antonio, Texas, Robbie Meyer of Austin, Texas; and five great nieces and nephews, Trevor, Austin, Madison, Kevin and Cassandra Meyer. The funeral service was at the Saugatuck Congregational Church, 245 Post Rd E., Westport with the Rev. John Danner officiating.
Social Security had his last residence as Westport, Fairfield County, Connecticut.
