Willie's age was given as 5 on the 1910 census and as 16 on the 1920 census. He was listed as a laborer on the home farm in 1920. I could not find him in the 1930 census. He was listed as a day laborer on the death certificate. He had been a resident of Bastrop, Texas, his entire life.

His name was recorded as William on Peggy's birth record, but Willie on all the others.

Willie married Frieda Placke, daughter of Rudolph Placke and Francesca. (Frieda Placke was born on 28 Aug 1902 in Texas and died on 8 Jan 1976.)
