Name probably was Oscar Dudley Wofford, although it was turned around both ways in the various census reports. His WWI draft registration was under the name of Oscar Dud Wofford. The death certificate had Oscar Dudley Wofford.

At the time of the 1910 census, Oscar was recently married and was renting his farm in Floyd County, Texas. When he registered for the WWI draft, he was farming at Mickey, Floyd County, Texas. (Place name no longer exists.) He requested an exemption based on the needs of his wife and two children. At the time of the 1920 census, Oscar owned his home in Lockney, Floyd County, Texas, free of any mortgage. He was farming a general farm. At the time of the 1930 census, Oscar owned his farm in Floyd County, Texas. It was considered a general farm.

Social Security had his last residence as Plainview, Hale County, Texas.
