![]() General Notes: At the time of the 1910 census, Elmer was a laborer in a coal mine. He owned his home in Warrior, Etowah County, Alabama, free of any mortgage. When Elmer registered for the WWI draft, he listed farming as his occupation and claimed an exemption based on the support of his wife and three children. By the time of the 1920 census, the family had moved to Hardwick, Blount County, Alabama. Elmer was paying a mortgage to own his home. He was farming a general farm.
