In the 1930 census, it was reported that she was born in Louisiana, her father in Alabama, and her mother in the United States.

Annie married William Moses Sparkman Jr, son of William Moses Sparkman Sr and China Elizabeth Buckner, on 30 Apr 1905 in , Hood County, Texas.¹ (William Moses Sparkman Jr was born on 26 Jun 1862 in , Rusk County, Texas,⁵ died on 18 Oct 1948 in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas ^{5 6} and was buried on 20 Oct 1948 in Pecan Wells Cemetery, Hamilton County, Texas ^{5 7}.). The cause of his death was pneumonia. Contributory causes were nephritis, hypertension, and myocardial enlargement.
