Val Lewis Disman
Val Lewis Disman was born on February 26, 1954 in San Angelo, Texas. After a battle with cancer and pneumonia, he passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 in Conroe, Texas surrounded by family. He was 64 years old.
Val held a variety of jobs over the years from auto mechanic to oil field worker and eventually owning his own business with his best friend. He lived in San Angelo, TX, Fredericksburg, TX, Breckenridge, TX and Huntsville, TX.
He loved fishing and being outdoors. He loved to sing and dance. Family and friends were important to him above anything else and he would do anything for those he loved. His greatest loves and proudest achievements were his children.
Val is survived by his six children; Regina Lyn Hoag and husband Edward of Otego, NY, Andrea Rose Rowland and husband Josh of San Angelo, TX, Kenneth Cole Disman and wife MariJo of San Angelo, TX, Michele Moldenhaur and husband Chris of Fredericksburg, TX, Melony Disman of Pointblank, TX, and Niki Disman of Fredericksburg, TX. Val is also survived by 12 grandchildren; Kayla Hasty and significant other Dalton Highnote of Abilene, TX, Jordan Hasty of Otego, NY, Rikkie Rauschenberg and wife Amber of San Diego, CA, Travis Ruschenberg and Nolan Rauschenberg both of San Angelo, TX, Anthony Rivera and Jessalynn Castaneda both of Fredericksburg, TX, Drake Disman of San Angelo, TX, Jordan Alise Disman and Austin Disman both of Pointblank, TX, Coral and Finn Moldenhaur both of Fredericksburg, TX and two great grandchildren, Zander Ruschenberg of San Diego, CA and Faith Ramirez of San Angelo, TX. Val is also survived by sisters; Joyce McGee of Breckenridge, TX, Edith Teague and husband Jimmy of Hope, Arkansas, brothers; Frank Disman of Breckenridge, TX and Ray Disman of Fredericksburg, TX, numerous nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. He is also survived by special friend Jan Laabs who was the wife of his best friend Bill, and Joanne Byars who helped to care for him in his last days on this earth.
He was preceded in death by his father; Phil Disman, beloved mother and loved step-father Rosie Head and Elvin Head, brother; David Disman and lifelong best friend, Bill Leathers who was like a brother to him.
Val had a presence about him that just drew everyone in and you couldn't help but love him. He was loved by so many, and will be missed greatly.
