General Notes:
Charles's career as an educator began at Goatneck, Texas, in a two room schoolhouse in the late 1930's and continued until 1974 when he retired from the Alvarado Independent School District, Alvarado, Johnson County, Texas. He had served as coach, teacher, principal and superintendent. He was honored in 1985 when the AISD football stadium was named Charles Head Stadium.
He was drafted as a civilian employee by the US Navy in World War II.
Great-grandchildren mentioned in his obituary that I couldn't determine the parents for are Miranda Lawson and Russell Lawson.
