Florence Emily Soules Sheldon of Star died Wednesday July 25, 2007 in a nursing home. She was 88.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel in Goldthwaite. Burial followed in Hurst Ranch Cemetery.
Survivors include daughters, Barbara Channell of Vernon and Bettie Black of Star; sisters, Vergie Sheldon of Evant and Lottie Morris of Mesquite; and a brother, Hugh Soules of Gatesville.

Florence married Winifred Leonard Sheldon, son of David Wales Sheldon and Ida O. Waddill. (Winifred Leonard Sheldon was born on 8 Jun 1911, died on 23 Jan 1974 and was buried in Hurst Ranch Cemetery, Hamilton County, Texas ⁴.)
