Ozella Soules Clary, 88, of Evant died Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Hillview Manor in Goldthwaite.

Services were Nov. 12 at First United Methodist Church of Evant with Rev. Bob Hayes officiating. Burial was in Hurst Ranch Cemetery near Star under the direction of Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home of Goldthwaite.

Mrs. Clary was born Jan. 23, 1910, in Mills County, the daughter of Jim and Maggie Boykin Soules. She was married to Robert Clary on Dec. 24, 1935. She was a housewife and a member of First United Methodist Church of Evant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two children and one grandchild.

Survivors include two sons, Armand Clary and wife Frances and Harold Dale Clary and wife Teresa; four sisters, Florence Sheldon and Choella Clary, Virgie Sheldon and Lottie Morris; three brothers, James Soules, Luther H. Soules and Winifred W. Soules; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandchildren Greg Clary, Dickie Clary, Tim Clary, Brent Clary, David Clary and Jeff Clary.

Memorials may be made to Methodist Children's Home in Waco or Evant Methodist Church.

Ozella married Robert Clary on 24 Dec 1935. (Robert Clary was born on 25 Apr 1906, died on 16 Nov 1979 and was buried in Hurst Ranch Cemetery, Hamilton County, Texas.)
