She immigrated to USA in 1890 and became a naturalized citizen in 1899. By the time of the 1910 census, Augusta had borne 5 children with 4 still living. She was a resident of Elgin, Bastrop County, Texas, for 37 years prior to her death.

Augusta married Ludvig Kylberg, son of Carl Johan Jönsson Kylberg and Maria Christina Munson, about 1900. (Ludvig Kylberg was born on 15 Oct 1874 in Runseryd, Forserum, , Jönköpings län, Småland, Sweden,⁶ died on 14 Mar 1941 in , Bastrop County, Texas ^{6 7} and was buried on 16 Mar 1941 in Lund Cemetery, Elgin, Bastrop County, Texas ⁶.). The cause of his death was lobar pneumonia.⁴
