Her parents John Wright and Nancy Dunseith were born in Georgia, according to the 1900 census. At that time her mother was widowed. Only 4 of her 7 children were still at home: Acey T., Bell, Walter, and Iola. Iola's brother Acey worked on the farm. A boarder George Graham, 26, was also farming. She was listed as Ora with first husband, Allen C. Prince, and son Lawrence, on the 1910 census in Johnson County, Texas. The inscription on her tombstone says "Our Mother. To know her was to love her."
